Hi there, mama! First off, congratulations — this is such a beautiful and exciting time, and I’m truly honored that you’re considering letting me be part of your journey.
Pregnancy is full of little magical moments, from the first time you hear that tiny heartbeat to those sweet little kicks and hiccups. These are the memories that stay with you forever. And while we often remember the feelings, we sometimes forget how incredible we looked and felt during this time. That’s where I come in, to help you freeze these precious moments before baby arrives.
I totally understand if you’re feeling unsure about being in front of the camera right now. Between the swelling, the backaches, and everything else… I’ve been there too. But I promise, you deserve to feel amazing, even just for an hour, and it’s my job to make sure you do. I promise to guide you every step of the way so you feel confident, beautiful, and celebrated.
For your maternity session, I usually recommend booking between 30 and 36 weeks along. Every pregnancy is unique, so if you’re showing early, we can start as soon as 28 weeks. Some mamas prefer to wait a little longer, t’s all about what feels right for you!
When it comes to location, we’re spoiled here in Okinawa! We’re lucky to have so many beautiful backdrops to choose from — golden beaches, quiet fields, charming city streets, and hidden gems all around. I especially love shooting during golden hour (that dreamy light right before sunset) for that soft, glowing touch that looks amazing in photos.
But if you’re envisioning something more intimate or artistic, I also offer in-studio fine art maternity sessions at my cozy studio in Yomitan. These sessions are perfect if you want a more styled, editorial feel with full control over lighting and mood. Whether you love soft neutrals or dramatic tones, we’ll create something timeless and striking, all in the comfort of a relaxed indoor setting.
If you’d like to feel extra pampered, I always recommend treating yourself to professional hair and makeup. Sydney Ito is my go-to artist and she’s absolutely wonderful. You’ll feel like a queen, and your photos will reflect that. Sydney Ito Make-up Artist
And no need to stress about what to wear! I have a collection of stunning maternity gowns and accessories available for all of my clients, from simple and classic to boho and glam. ON location or fine art studio session
to include Maternity Session Fee ($150) and 15 digital images ($345)

on location or fine art studio session
to include Maternity session Fee ($150) and 20 digital images ($425)
Total: $575
If you are thinking about getting the newborn photos done as well, the maternity and newborn combo package might be a great option, since it saves $245 compared to purchasing two sessions with 15 digital images separately. Please view the pricing page for more details.

The session fee is considered as a non refundable retainer fee that is due within 24hrs from discussing the booking of your date. This will secure the date of your photo shoot.
Session is considered booked ONLY when completed session agreement form and session fee is received and confirmed by Simply Ania.
The link to the agreement form expires after 24hrs or at 72hrs prior to the session time, whichever is sooner.
Last minute bookings need to be booked and confirmed no less than 72hrs from the discussed session date.
No prints or digital negatives are included in the session fee unless otherwise specified.
All images taken during your session will be copyrighted by Simply Ania and are protected by Federal Copyright Law.
It is therefore unlawful to reproduce the work in any manner without photographer's written permission.
Due to the custom nature of each session, all sales are final.
Re-shoots are at the discretion of the photographer and are not given for regretful personal choices as hair and clothing.
All rates are subject to change at any time. In the interest of fairness to all customers, all rates are non negotiable.
