There are few moments in life as powerful, emotional, and life changing as the birth of your child. It is a day filled with anticipation, strength, love, and countless little moments that deserve to be remembered.

My passion for birth photography comes from my own experience. My delivery was more challenging than I had imagined, and in those moments I needed my husband beside me—not behind a camera trying to document everything. Looking back, I wish I had known that birth photography existed. I would treasure those images today: the first time I saw my baby, the emotions on my husband's face, the tiny details that become a blur so quickly after birth.

That experience is what inspires me to provide this service to other families.

My approach to birth photography is completely documentary. I quietly tell your story as it naturally unfolds, without directing or interrupting the experience. Every birth is unique, and every family has different preferences. Some parents prefer that I remain quietly in the background, while others welcome me into their space as part of the support team during the waiting hours. However you envision your birth experience, I will respect your wishes and photograph your story with care, sensitivity, and professionalism.

Before your due date, we'll meet for a consultation to discuss your birth preferences, your photography wishes, and answer any questions you may have. My goal is for you to feel completely comfortable knowing what to expect.

Once you are in active labor, simply let me know, and I'll make my way to your birth location. I remain with you throughout labor, delivery, and for approximately an hour afterward to capture those unforgettable first moments from your baby's first breath, first cuddles, introductions to family, and the overwhelming joy that fills the room.

Your gallery will include a collection of professionally edited, high resolution digital images with a personal print release. Because every birth unfolds differently, the number of images varies, but most galleries include approximately 75–350 photographs that beautifully tell the complete story of your baby's arrival.

Your privacy is incredibly important to me. Whether or not your images are shared publicly is entirely your decision. During our consultation, we'll discuss your preferences, and there is absolutely no obligation to allow your photographs to appear in my portfolio or on social media. In fact, many of the births I photograph remain completely private, and I respect each family's wishes without exception.

Because babies arrive on their own schedule, birth photography requires me to be on call for your family from 38 to 42 weeks of pregnancy. I make every effort to arrive as quickly as possible once you notify me that labor is progressing. While I have successfully documented many births, it's important to understand that birth is beautifully unpredictable. On rare occasions, circumstances beyond anyone's control—such as an unexpectedly fast labor or unavoidable travel delays—may prevent me from arriving before your baby is born.

To reserve your due date on my calendar, a non-refundable retainer is required at the time of booking, with the remaining balance due by your 36th week of pregnancy.

It is truly an honor to witness and preserve one of the most meaningful days in a family's life. My hope is that years from now, these photographs will bring you right back to the emotions, strength, and incredible love you felt when you first met your baby.
